I think I found my new favorite Mexican restaurant! I'm a black girl that lives in the Chamblee area, and I have many Latino friends and neighbors. One day my neighbor was eating a burrito from this place, as it looked and smelled so GOOD! He recommended I come here. I walked in and was greeted by a friendly male cashier who took my order and also made some recommendations for what was good on the menu. I ordered the carne aside (steak) jumbo burrito, with a side of fries, and mango Agua. GUYS, EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS PERFECTION!! The taco was huge and delicious, the fries were crispy and well seasoned and battered, not those frozen fries you get from other places and they throw a little salt on them. And the mango Agua was so amazing. My son and I devoured our meal and wanted seconds! And my son is a very picky eater. But it's now the next day and he's asking me when we're going back! Wow! I love the food here and can't wait to go back

The lengua tacos are oh so good. All the toppings are fresh and amazing. The tortillas really add such a lovely silky and creamy layer that hits your tongue first- and then melds effortlessly with everything it’s holding. It feels like a religious experience.

I love Taco Veloz, but this one is the BEST one in Gwinnett. They always have the salsa bar available, and the consistency of service and steak is great! Don't let the outside appearance fool you, because it's literally in the heart of the community. When I'm in Chamblee, and want a good tacos... this is where I go!!!

Best steak burrito (the regular), hands down. I’ve tried dozens of other places (in multiple states!) and none come close to this. There’s just something about this burrito that I can’t find elsewhere, even at other Taco Veloz locations! Probably had this steak burrito more than 50 times over the years, never gets old. My only complaint is the price, nowadays it’s 9 which is a little steep, wish it were a little cheaper (or alternatively a little bigger to accommodate the price).

BEST MEXICAN SPOT IN TOWN!!! Can not praise it enough, GREAT FOOD and EVEN BETTER PRICES!!! For authentic Mexican at fantastic price, this place is a must!! If you want something filling and delicious, try their soups!
